In this introduction to water bath canning we’ll cover recommended equipment and procedures for safely preserving jam and pickles at home. We’ll make batches of berry jam and mixed vegetable pickles. Recipes will be provided that can be adapted to make them your own. Each participant will be able to take home a jar of jam and a jar of pickles. Classes run about 2.5 hours. If you’re nervous about canning this is the class for you!
